The accounts of players who used the glitch in GTA Online, which allows you to quickly get a lot of cash, are completely reset, which is quite an unusual practice for developers from Rockstar Games studio.

As you probably well know, GTA Online is full of various glits and bugs. Players often have to deal with bugs, although some of them can often be used to your advantage. For example, a glitch has recently been discovered whereby purchased properties (apartments and garages) are sold for a higher price than when they were purchased, making it easy to make huge amounts of cash. This method has become widespread, which attracted the attention of developers at Rockstar Games, who decided to react in a slightly different way than usual when awarding penalties.
Until now, players using various cash-related glitch games had to reckon with the fact that the money obtained could simply be taken back to them. Now, however, people who abused the latest bug have to accept a full account reset (or even a ban), which means losing all progress, including money, items, and cars of the character. The creators have no mercy and even 7-year-old profiles are punished, and the measures taken have just been officially announced.
It’s good to know that such account cleaning has been going on for some time, and yesterday there was another wave of penalties, which this time reached many users. They are unflattering about the developers from Rockstar Games, even laughing that instead of fixing bugs, they are just going the easy way. Players who have lost all their progress are also announcing that they will not return to production until the launch of GTA VI. On the other hand, those who have used the glitch and have not yet received a penalty should not rest easy – another wave of resets and account bans may come at any moment.
